Neil Spidaletto

Neil is a retired Police Chief with 27 years of experience in law enforcement. He served as a Patrolman, Detective, Sergeant, and Lieutenant before becoming the Chief of Police. While he was Chief, Sparta Township was rated the safest Township in New Jersey (2022) and the 7^th safest in the nation (2022). He is also the retired Interim Sparta Township Manager, a position he held while still the Chief of Police, managing over 175 employees and overseeing a $26M budget. He graduated from the FBI National Academy Session #262 and holds a master’s degree in public administration from Seton Hall University.
